Welcome to Centenary Stormers F.C. – Season 2020

 Our registration fees and benefits are:

 

Aldi Mini Roos – Kick Off

 

 4 introductory sessions for 3 – 9 year olds, spread over 4 weeks.

Cost is $ 50 and all kids will receive a training ball.

 

 

Aldi Mini Roos – Puddles

 Girls and boys, 3 – 5 years old.

 Approximately 20 weekly sessions where they will learn the very basic football skills using popular game type activities.

 Cost is $ 150 and participants will receive a training ball, training shirt, club shorts & socks, cap, end of season break-up and a special memento.

 

 

 

     Aldi Mini Roos – Club.

 Offers 5 – 11 year old girls & boys small sided modified football, played in a team environment, against local clubs on a home and away basis.

 Training will be on designated week nights between 5.30 and 7.00pm starting early March, with games played on Saturday mornings, commencing Saturday 1 May.

 The cost is $ 425 per child and that will cover the FFA, FQ & FB registration fees and insurance as well as a training ball, training shirt, club shorts & socks, cap, back pack, end of season break up and a special memento.

 

 

 

  

U12 – Junior – BYPL & Modified.

 This age group transitions players’ from Aldi Mini Roos to Junior Divisional football and the cost is $ 500 per player and that includes FFA, FQ & FB registration fees and insurance as well as a training ball, club shorts & socks, cap, bag, end of season break up and a special memento.

 Training will be on designated week nights between 5.30 and 7.00pm starting date TBA, with most games played on Saturday mornings commencing Friday 13 March for the BYPL and Division 1 teams and the weekend starting February 21 for division 2 and below.

 

   U13 BYPL and Divisional.

 This group is for players turning 13 in 2020 and the BYPL team is selected during pre-season training.

 The cost is $ 500 per player and that includes FFA, FQ & FB registration fees and insurance as well as a training ball, club shorts & socks, cap, bag, end of season break up and a special memento and referee fees.

 Training will be on designated week nights between 5.30 and 7.00pm starting early February, with most games played on Sunday, commencing Sunday February 21.

 

Female Football

 Centenary Stormers is keen to increase the number of girl and women participants and encourages your enquiries.

 With the Aldi Mini Roos club teams, we will field girls only teams if there are enough players to do so, otherwise the girls will play in mixed teams.

 

Women – City League

 Like in 2019, the Stormers are intending to field a City League Division 5 ladies team.

 The 2020 fees will be $ 600 and that will also include the FFA, FQ & FB fees, insurance, club shorts, socks & polo shirt, a bag and referees fees.

 The City League teams will train at night from 7.30 – 9.00pm (days TBA) and the season kicks off the weekend starting Friday 20 March with the last premiership match during the weekend starting Friday 21 August.

 

Women’s Legends

 Our very successful ‘Legendary Legends’ were the first senior football team at the Stormers, starting in 2006.

 It offers a great way to maintain your fitness and provides a wonderful social outlet.

 Games are usually played on Wednesday nights.

 The fees for the season will be $ 350 and that will cover FFA fees and insurance, club shorts, socks, polo shirt & referees fees.

 

   BPL & Reserves

 The ‘Stormers’ will compete in the Brisbane Premier League and Reserves for the 3rd consecutive season and players are selected during a series of training sessions.

 The 2020 fees will be $ 600 and that will cover the FFA, FQ & FB fees, insurance, club shorts, socks & polo shirt, a bag and referees fees.

 Training resumes early January and the season commences Friday 6 March with our final competition match scheduled for Friday 21 August.

 The ‘Stormers’ have been allocated 9 x Friday night games, 10 on Saturday and 3 on Sunday.

 

  City League – Men

 The club is planning to field teams in Men’s City League Divisions 2, 4 ,5 & 6

 The 2020 fees will be $ 600 and that will cover the FFA, FQ & FB fees, insurance, club shorts, socks & polo shirt, a bag and referees fees.

 The City League teams will train on nights TBA and the season kicks off the weekend starting Friday 20 March with the last premiership match during the weekend starting Friday 21 August.

 

QMF Masters – Men Over 35

 If you are over 35 and still keen to kick the ball around in a friendly, enjoyable and social atmosphere, our Masters are the group to join.

 In 2019 we fielded one team, but there has been a lot of interest by potential players and we may end up nominating 2 teams.

 Fees are yet to be announced, but are expected to be around $ 400.

 

 

This is a great new concept for men & women Over 50 and is the answer for frustrated former players that are still desperate to play the game they love.

 It is intended to offer a great social outlet and enjoy this modified game and some great banter and reliving happy memories afterwards. Don’t forget to invite a friend.

 The once only annual nomination fee is $ 95, plus $ 10 per game.

Important Dates

January 29 – Training commences for City League (Men & Women) and Junior Divisional Teams.

 

Weekend starting 14/21 February, is the likely start of FFA Cup – Round 2 (BPL and Men’s Capital League and Round 1 of the U13 – 16 BYPL & Division 1.

 

 Saturday 1 and 15 February – club sign-on days from 9am til 12pm at ‘Tornado Alley @ Atthows Park’ 250 Monier Rd Darra

 

 Wednesday 4 March, start of the 4 weeks Mini Roos Kick-off program.

 

 Weekend starting Friday 6 March, is the start of Round 1 for the BPL and BWPL and Capital League divisions.

 

 Week starting Monday 8 March, Aldi Mini Roos start training.

 

 Weekend starting Friday February 21 sees the likely start of Round 1, for junior divisional teams (excluding BYPL and Division 1).

 

 Weekend starting Friday 20 March sees the likely start of Round 1 for the City League (Men & Women) and Legends.

 

 Saturday 4 April, Muster Day.

 

 Weekend starting Friday 13 March is the start of the U12 divisional teams.

 

 Saturday 1 May, is the date for Round 1 of the Aldi Mini Roos, Club Football.
