 Welcome to Centenary Stormers FC

Centenary Stormers F.C is a Community Club and provides a rewarding and enjoyable football
experience in a family friendly environment for all ages, genders, income, ability, background,
culture and race.
No matter your skill level or experience, we will find you a team.
It starts with Aldi MiniRoos Kick Off and Club Football to Junior Football to City League (Men &
Women) to Capital League 2 (Women) to Flight Centre Premier League (Men), to Legends (Women
Over 30) to Masters (Men Over 35) and an exciting new concept, Walking Football (Men & Women
Over 50).

Most importantly our registration fees are affordable and we provide lots of benefits in return.

THE KEY PILLARS are:
EVERY INCOME → the Stormers provide opportunities for children from low income families.
EVERY GENDER → encouraging and welcoming females of all ages to enjoy our ‘beautiful game’.
EVERY ABILITY → through our own and the ‘Special Olympics Program’.
EVERY BACKGROUND → aiming to connect with families and communities culturally and
linguistically diverse (CALD), refugee and migrant backgrounds.

FOOTBALL (SOCCER), THE MOST POPULAR FOOTBALL CODE

Football is Australia’s most popular of the 4 codes, ranking 2nd, after swimming, in the Ausplay
Survey results at 30 June 2018 in the Child Participation stats and 7th among Adults.
Whilst there has been a lot of controversy about the QRL’s recent decision to introduce a modified
version of the game at junior level, football successfully introduced this concept many, many years
ago with the current initiative being the Aldi MiniRoos Kick Off and Club Football programs.
The ‘Kick Off’ package is for 3-9 year olds, new to the game and the ‘Club’ program offers small sided
football for 5-11 year olds.

We cater for:

Junior Football

Aldi MiniRoos ‘Puddles’ – girls and boys, 3 – 5 years old
Aldi MiniRoos – girls and boys, 6 to 11 years old.
Juniors Modified 9 a-side – girls and boys, 12 years old.
Juniors Competition – girls and boys, 13 – 16 years old.

Senior Football

City League Women – Division 5

Walking Football (Over 50 – Mixed).

Small sided games where participants don’t need the speed but are still able to use the skills
learned in the traditional football format.
It is likely that the games will be scheduled on Sunday mornings.
To be able to proceed, the club needs to recruit an adequate number of players and Over
50’s are invited to register their interest and receive further details by contacting
secretary@centenarystormers.com.au
This is a great activity for the more mature among us who still have itchy feet and wanting to
play our beautiful game in a friendly and social environment and enjoy a cup of coffee or
other beverage afterwards. A case of the mind is willing but the body is no longer able to
keep up with what the mind wants it to do.
