|Seniors Update|

As we near the end of the season, read on to see how are Senior Men and Women are faring.

| Capital 1 |

With just 1 point from the first 8 rounds things were looking a little grim in the First’s first season in Capital 1. A run of 3 wins and a draw from the next 4 games however and a crucial point at home against high flyers Souths United leaves the our boys 3 pts clear of the relegation zone with two games to play.

This week shapes up as a must win on Friday night at Tornado Alley against a bottom placed Mt Gravatt side who will be eager to spoil our chances of staying up.

Ladder Position – 10th

Leading Goal Scorer – Fedja Mehinagic/16 goals

Form – LLDWD

| Capital 1 Reserves |

The Ressies have found form having not lost in the last 3 matches, which along with the Firsts can take some positivity out of finishing the season in good form.

| City 2 Men |

It hasn’t been an easy season for the City 2 side that were put together and entered into the competition after Round 4. Consistency was the biggest challenge this year, City 2 did manager to defeat top side UQFC 2-0 late in the season which showed good form which they will hope to carry into next season.

| City 5 Men|

City 5 have continued their good form after moving up two divisions after winning the City 7 double last season. Currently in first place by one point, a win from this weekend will see them win back to back Premierships with the goal of hosting (and winning) another Grand Final at Tornado Alley. Here’s hoping that their form of not losing an away match since May 2014 will help them get over the line.

 | City 6 Men|

After a fast start out of the blocks undefeated and leading the league winning six from six, the other sides have overtaken leaving our City 6 side in 5th position leading into this weekend’s clash against 3rd placed AC Carina. Virtually guaranteed the 5th and final place in knockout phase, a win by a five goal margin and a loss for 4th placed Ipswich City could see them jump to 3rd. Either way a good season so far with the team on track for the 3rd finals appearance in a row

 | City 7 Men |

A great debut season for the newly formed City 7 side. Leading the competition after 8 rounds, a series of unfortunate results saw them drop from top spot,  but after 3 wins with a goal difference of 26-0 they have tightened their grip on a guaranteed finals berth. Currently in 4th, a win against 3rd placed Mt Gravatt will see them seal 4th spot and a home elimination final next week.
